Kennedy Kafui Segbedzi is the Founder and Executive Director of the KenKafui Foundation, a youth-focused nonprofit organization committed to equipping young people with practical information technology skills and preparing them for emerging opportunities in the digital economy.

He is an experienced IT infrastructure, cybersecurity and electronic security systems professional with more than 15 years of experience in data networking, telecommunications, CCTV surveillance, access control, fibre-optic systems, computer hardware and technical support. Throughout his career, he has installed, maintained and managed business-critical technology systems while providing training and technical guidance to individuals and organizations.

Kennedy holds a Diploma in Cybersecurity and is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity at SIIMT University. He is also a Certified Telecommunication and Network Specialist, an A+ Hardware Technician and a Certified Information Security Expert. His additional professional training includes network analysis, leadership, terrorism, crime and investigation.

His experience as an IT instructor helped him recognize the importance of practical technology education in transforming the lives of young people. This inspired him to establish the KenKafui Foundation as a platform for introducing the younger generation to cybersecurity, networking, software development, digital literacy, artificial intelligence and other technology-related career opportunities.

Through the Foundation, Kennedy seeks to identify and support talented young people, particularly those from underserved communities who may not have access to computers, professional mentorship or quality technical training. His goal is to bridge the digital skills gap by creating opportunities for practical learning, career guidance, innovation and responsible technology use.

Kennedy is passionate about leadership, community development and using technology to solve real-world problems. He believes that every young person, regardless of their background, should have the opportunity to acquire relevant digital skills, discover their potential and contribute meaningfully to society.

His vision is to develop the KenKafui Foundation into a trusted centre for technology education, mentorship and innovation—raising a generation of skilled, confident and socially responsible technology leaders.
